The HERVET Bank

The Hervet Bank, originally a family owned bank, was created in Bourges in 1830. It has 90,000 customers including 70,000 private individuals and 20,000 companies, mostly small businesses. As a high street bank, it offers a wide range of products and services adapted to the needs of both types of customer.

The bank's headquarters are in Nanterre and the registered office in Bourges. There are 86 branches in Paris and the Paris region, central France (the departments of Cher, Indre, and Nièvre), and in Lille, Lyon, Nice and Cannes. Banque de Baecque Beau, its head office bank and main subsidiary, is based in Paris. In addition to its commercial activity, the Hervet Bank also provides the following services: factoring through Hervet Factor, property management for prestigious clients via its specialist agency Hervet Patrimoine, leasing with Sofimurs and portfolio management through Marly Gestion. In March 2001, the Hervet Bank became a subsidiary of CCF, thereby joining the HSBC group.

In terms of staff numbers and profit, the Hervet Bank is the largest of CCF's ten regional banks. Patrick Careil, Managing Director of the Hervet Bank, is also in charge of the Coordination of Regional Banks on the CCF's Management Committee.
