GE in France


The GE group has a base in France for the majority of its business activities, with most of its 10,000 employees working in energy, services and high tech. businesses such as aircraft engines and medical imaging.

Three of its largest European business centres are located in France: Energy Products-Europe, Medical Systems and Real Estate. It also boasts 8 production sites and 3 research and development units. Its combined R&D and IT expenditure for 2006 was €150 million.
