Creation
Walter E. Heller (50 %), the Banque de l'Indochine and the CNEP (BNP), through their joint American subsidiary, the French American Banking Corporation (50 %) created Factofrance to make it become the French link of a chain of Factoring Companies, the Heller Group. The idea of Walter E. Heller was to establish a network of companies to serve the financial needs of American exporters operating in several countries based on the two factor system concept. For many reasons, this initial project could not be developed as foreseen and to date, many companies (6 out of 17) of the Heller group are Factors Chain International's members, a wider association.
