Thierry Willième, who joined Factofrance as Managing Director in August 2003, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer with effect from 10 September.

Michel Aussavy is withdrawing from executive duties in the Factofrance group to be appointed President of the Supervisory Board.

 

Thierry Willième joined the General Electric Group after 19 years with IBM, where he held many positions in sales, including that of Sales Director for the French Small and Medium Business centre. From 1999 to 2003 he was a board member of IBM France and Executive Chairman of IBM France Financement, where he was in charge of sales financing and factoring in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

He was born in September 1957 and is a graduate of the ESLCA business school.

Michel Aussavy was born in January 1940 and graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 1960. After working for the Société Générale, the Compagnie Générale d'Organisation, the Société Navale Delmas Vieljeux and the Crédit du Nord, he joined Factofrance Heller in 1980. He was Managing Director from 1982 to 1988, Executive Chairman from 1988 to 2002 and finally Chief Executive Officer after the takeover of Factofrance Heller by General Electric and its renaming as SNC Factofrance.
