A team working at ground level

Our sales base in Strasbourg serves the whole of eastern France. The team is currently made up of three sales consultants and three sales technicians.

“The large area covered by the Strasbourg office, from Alsace and Lorraine to the Franche-Comté region, means that our team members need strong organisational skills and have to excel in the art of time management. Each sales technician is responsible for a specific area and works in close cooperation with the sales consultants.”

“There is constant pressure to ensure that our time is well managed and our appointments well planned,” stresses Philippe.

The sales consultants' role is to contact potential clients and arrange meetings. In the two days preceding the meeting, the sales technician recontacts the prospective client to ensure they are still interested in keeping the appointment. It is also our job," he says " to assist new clients in getting their first invoices to us, help them set up our e.f@ctoring facility and train them in its use.

A sales technician working out of Strasbourg has a multi-faceted role: he oversees the entire client recruitment process, covering direct clients, targeted by the marketing initiatives led by the sales consultants, and clients recruited by the third party network. This network consists of credit-insurers, financial consultants, bankers, accountants, institutional contacts and such like, and is also managed and maintained by the sales technician. He or she then has to plan appointments with both potential clients and partners in the indirect sales network so as to optimize the use of time spent in a given sector. Good organisation and close teamwork between sales consultants and technicians are therefore the key to maximum efficiency.
