Factobail was created in 1986 by Factofrance (49%) and Bail Equipment (51%). It provides short term financing (factoring) and medium term financing (leasing, renting) to manufacturers and distributors of computer hardware and software packages as well as to software engineering companies.
The company has a leasing licence. It is now wholly owned by Factofrance.

Through its Factobail subsidiary, Factofrance has developed a special product for IT sector manufacturers and importers who source materials from distribution networks. Factobail finances invoices and offers credit protection and debt recovery for distribution network transactions.
